Make up art and beach shoot

Applying paint to a canvas is fun, but there is something about painting make up on a model that takes the fun to another level! With make up art, the canvas is a human face and it moves and blinks and has a skin type. What a fun day I had painting up this beautiful model and shooting some great colorful pictures on the beach. I used jewelry inspired temporary tattoos down the models lip, chin and neck for added drama. When painting on canvas I usually use only primary colors, so for this shoot it seemed fitting to style everything in red, yellow and blue. For me, make up is a fun break from canvas and paper and allows me to practice my skills and see my art move and laugh!
